After so long of not being able to attend networking conferences due to Covid after the past couple of years, I was able to moderate in person the 11th edition of The Future of Swedish and Danish Life Science event at Medicon Village in Lund, Sweden.
This event was fully booked with both speakers, exhibitors and also people attending. For those who maybe do not know how my Swedish story started I moved to Lund to be based at AstraZeneca in Lund which is now today the phoenix that rose from the ashes Medicon Village where there are more people working than during the AstraZeneca time.
I was very proud to pick up the baton to be able to moderate the day as I really enjoy doing this, I enjoy multitasking and of course meeting new people plus you have to clock.
The event was organised of course by LifeScienceSweden Magazine and in collaboration with Medicon Valley Alliance, it was especially exciting to listen to the CEO Anette Steenberg about 25 years of Swedish-Danish Life Science collabortion but also much more work that can be done as well.
I really enjoyed the day as it really felt like a family reunion and as always say to people that do not work within our industry that its like working within a big family because we all care about one thing which is of course making humanity better helping a patient have a better outcome.
Some of the take home messages from the discussions were how important it is to get the right story for your company, having the right people around you in your network and collaboration.
