I’m very pleased to share that I’ve been appointed to the Board of the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in Sweden.
At a time when global collaboration is becoming increasingly important, this feels both exciting and meaningful.
The Nordic region represents one of the world’s strongest life science ecosystems, with deep expertise across MedTech, biotech and healthcare innovation. At the same time, Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area offer a powerful gateway into Asia, providing access to capital, partnerships and rapidly evolving healthcare markets.
This combination creates a clear opportunity. One that is not just about expansion, but about building meaningful, long-term collaboration.
In my role on the Board, I look forward to supporting this bridge in a more structured and scalable way. This includes:
- Strengthening connections between Nordic and Hong Kong stakeholders
- Supporting companies exploring international growth and market entry
- Facilitating partnerships across industry, academia and investors
- Creating platforms for dialogue, knowledge exchange and collaboration
Over the coming year, this will take shape through a series of focused initiatives, including delegations, roundtables and targeted ecosystem engagement.
For me personally, this appointment is a natural continuation of the work I’ve been building over many years, connecting people, ideas and opportunities across borders within life sciences.
If you are interested in Sweden–Hong Kong collaboration, or exploring Asia as part of your growth strategy, I would be very happy to start a conversation.
